NORTHWEST ARKANSAS — We are having nice weather after the good rain we got last week. We are getting close to fall and I like fall.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Dan and Johnnie Mae Marshall went to Cotton-Eyed Joe’s at Noel to eat one evening last week. They were celebrating Dan and Johnnie Mae’s 62nd wedding anniversary. Hope you all have many more.

Steve and Susan Tucker of Bella Vista visited me on Saturday evening fora while. They had been to a wedding near Decatur and came by on their way home.

Clifton Tucker visited me for a while one morning last week. I always enjoy him coming by. If he is near Gravette, he always comes by.

There wasn’t a very good turnout for the school board election last week. It will probably be different for the general election in November.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is regular club day. Jewel Crawley ishostess for the lunch. Sylvia Tucker has the lesson.

Carol Loux and Eula Evans both took a fall this week. Hope they are both doing better and will soon be out again.

The E.H. Club community yard sale is this Saturday, Sept. 29, at the community building. We still have booths for rent. The club will have a food booth. To get a booth call Sylvia Tucker, 291-4542, or Melinda Crawley, 291-0011. Gwen Singleton, 291-4520, is chairman of this project.
