GENTRY — GENTRY - With Gentry's Fall Festival just around the corner, organizers have released the following rules for the talent contest to be held on stage in the park on the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 14:

1. Gentry’s Fall Festival Talent Show is open to all individuals or groups. Please remember this is a family-oriented event. No profanity or vulgarlyrics or acts in any performance will be allowed. Keep attire at a respectable and tasteful level.

2. Please limit your act to 6 minutes. Acts will be penalized if time is exceeded.

3. A panel of judges will judge the acts on originality, preparedness, showmanship, audience response and overall performance. The scores will be added together and the decision of thejudges will be final.

4. Applications, along with $10 non-refundable entry fee, must be submitted no later than Friday, Oct 10. These can be dropped off or mailed to the Gentry Public Library, 105 E. Main, Gentry, AR 72734.
