GRAVETTE - Harvest Baptist Church of Gravette has moved into a new home, a 14,000 square-foot building, the former A&D Building, located on eight acres just south of Gravette on the east side of Arkansas Highway 59.

Harvest Baptist Church was founded in 2009, and the congregation has worshiped in several locations, most recently, at a building on Gravette Main Street.

“It’s really been an answered prayer,” said Pastor Deryl King. “The church has been praying and waiting for God to let us know where to move and He answered in a big way.”

The church holds worship services at 11 a.m.and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Wednesday night’s “Friends Club” meets at 6:15 for children in fifth grade. A youth group for teenagers, sixth through 12th grade, and adult Bible study meet at 6:30 p.m. All are dismissed at the same time.

Harvest Baptist is associated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Northwest Baptist Association of Bentonville.

Senior Pastor King graduated from Tishomingo, Okla., High School and attended Southeast and Northeast OklahomaState Universities and St. Luke Christian School and Theological Seminary. He holds a BA in psychology, an MA in theology and a Ph.D. in Biblical studies.
