Jack Austin

Rev. Jack Henry Austin, 69, of Neosho, Mo., died April 9, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

He was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Decatur, to Rev. Jack and Marjorie Bolch Austin. He pastored several churches, including Harmon Assembly of God, Hackett Assembly of God and Bethel Heights Assembly of God in Arkansas, as well as churches in Missouri and Alaska. He married Marjorie Kern at Decatur on May 22, 1964.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Teresa La- Donn Alverson and husband Rev. James Alverson of Exeter, Mo., Beverly Benner and husband Rev. Cameron Benner of Neosho, and Rev. Julie Kay Austin of Oakley, Calif.; one brother, Robert Austin of Bentonville; two sisters, Shirley Moffett of Gravette, and Mary Kincy of Bentonville; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were April 12 at Ozark Funeral Home chapel in Anderson, Mo., with his sons-in-law and daughters officiating. Burial was at Tracy Cemetery in Anderson. Arrangements were by Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson.

Fairy Garrett

Fairy B. Garrett, 90, died April 13, 2013, in Siloam Springs.

She was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Bearden, Okla., to Jacob T. and Lula Bell (Minter) Cross. She was married to Charlie A. Garrett, who died in 2001. She enjoyed crafts, writing poetry, singing, songwriting and playing the guitar and piano. She was an avid artist, seamstress, gardener, and canner, a farmer’s wife. She attended the Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Assembly of God Church in Gravette and was a past member of the Bethel Heights Assembly of God, near Gentry.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Charlie Cross, Frank Cross, Lawrence Cross,

Violet Williams, Luther Cross, and Ruby Poole.

She is survived by her sons, Lanny and Snooky Garrett of Gravette, Larry and Doris Garrett of Siloam Springs, Lyndle and Carla Garrett of California, Leonard Garrett of Sulphur Springs, and Luke and Dee Garrett of Benton- ville; brother, J.T. Cross of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grand- children.

Her service will be Thurs- day, April 18, at 11 a.m. in the Assembly of God Church in Gravette. Burial will fol- low at Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Callison- Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.

Terry Kinnamon

Terry Dean Kinnamon, 74, of Siloam Springs, died April 7, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1939, in Sulphur Springs, to Kenneth H. Kinnamon and Mearl Cunningham Kinnamon. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was married to Mary Joan Krehbiel for 31 years.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Marcus Kin- namon.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; four children; three stepchildren; three brothers, Kenneth Kinnamon, Phillip Kinnamon and Jim Kinnamon; and one sister, Lenora Umfleet.

Memorial services were April 10, at the Nazarene Church, Siloam Springs. Private burial was at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Johnnie Mae Marshall

Johnnie Mae Marshall, 81, of Gravette, Arkansas, died April 13, 2013, at her home. Born January 27, 1932, in Kirbyville, Texas, she was the daughter of Escar Earl Hawthorne and Winnie Mae

Brown Hawthorne. Johnnie married Daniel Maurice Marshall in Pineland, Texas, on September 12, 1950. They moved to

Arkansas from McLean, Texas in 1985. She attended Maysville Bible Church, Maysville, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Danielle Michelle Marshall.

Survivors include her husband Dan of 62 years; one son, Daniel Maurice Mar- shall, Jr., and wife Imelda Marshall-Berrospe of Decatur, Arkansas; one daughter, Linda Marie Hodges of Lewisville, Texas; four grand- children, DJ Hodges and wife Alondra of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Steelman and husband Joe of The Colony, Texas, Daniel Marshall, III, and wife Maria of San Antonio, Texas, and Benito Rebollar of Decatur, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, Chelsea Hodges, Emily Faith and Samuel Steelman.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Marshall, Jr., D.J. Hodges, Benito Robollar, Joe Steel- man, Walter McAdoo, and Ronnie Ward. Honorary pall- bearer will be Daniel Mar- shall III.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Maysville Bible Church, Maysville, Arkansas, with Mr. Jim Whisenant officiating. Burial will follow at Maysville Cemetery. Lonnie Oxford, Sr.

Lonnie Lee Oxford, Sr., 60, of Gravette, died April 12, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, fol- lowing a sudden illness.

He was born May 30, 1952, in Rogers, to Lemuel Anthony and Juanita Mae (Secrest) Oxford. He married Lana Abercrombie on Aug. 6, 1972, at Gravette. He worked for Kennametal Industries for more than 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grand- children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Clara Elliott.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lana Louise Ox- ford of the home; two sons, Butch Oxford and Carl Ox- ford, and a daughter, Tamara Stewart, all of Gravette; seven grandchildren; a brother, Buck Oxford and wife Pat of Goodman, Mo.; two sisters, Betty Stewart and husband Dewell of Gravette, and Mae Sutherland and husband Clyde of Jane, Mo.; and a brother-in-law, Slim Elliott of Sulphur Springs.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Gravette, with Jonas Edgmon officiating.

Arrangements are by Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Mo.

Fred Zachary

Fred Zachary, 65, of Gravette, died March 26, 2013, at a Little Rock hospital.

He was born March 21, 1948, in Texarkana, Texas, to Maxell and Autrey Zachary. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Gravette. He attended school in Leonard, Texas, before en- tering the Army and serving in Vietnam. He worked as a security guard, a postman and in the propane industry.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Autrey; one daughter, Cindy Branch and husband Jeff; three sons, Matthew and Patrick Wallain and Kyle Zachary of Gravette; four grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Zachary; and one sister, Marilyn Wooten and husband Don.

A memorial service was held April 13 at the First Baptist Church in Gravette under direction of J.D. Arnold.
