GRAVETTE - Stele James, Benton County Veteran’s Service Officer, announces he will be in Gravette twice each month to assist area veterans with their problems and/or to answer questions they may have.

James, who has served in the position since January, 2011, will be at the Gravette City Hall the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

He noted that pension eligibility, retirement and assisted living, along with service connected disabilities, are among the topics about which vets inquire.

James, an Arkansan and veteran who served in Iraq from 2003 to 2006, said he and his office are dedicated to serving the 18,666 known vets in Benton County.

Service officer Terry Thompson, and Patti Dial, assistant, are also available in the office in the County Administration Building in Bentonville. It is open Monday - Friday from 8 to 4:30. They can be reached at 464-6123.
