It seems as if the wasps are gathering in the mailboxes. Check yours and spray if you see any. Several of the carriers have been stung and some people are highly allergic to them.

The Oct. 4 high school football game, Gravette v. Gentry, will be played at Gravette. There was some conflicting information when the Gravette and Gentry schedules were printed in the paper, but word is that the game will be at Lion Stadium.

Bill Habermehl made a trip to the ER during the night Saturday night. He was released to return home. Remember the family in your prayers.

It seems Beth Austinis improving. She still needs our prayers.

Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier and Gabe Carrier had lunch with me on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Smith and their children took Margaret Cowgur out Saturday evening to help her celebrate an early birthday.

Jeremy Spear, grandson of Sam Spear, will hold a three-night revival Oct. 4, 5 and 6 at the Hiwasse Nazarene Church.

The fair is over, school has started and now it is time for football. We wish the Gravette boys a successful season.
