TL releases new book

COLCORD (OKLA.) — Just in time for Christmas shopping, a new book has been released on CD at Talbot Library and Museum in Colcord, Okla.

"Pioneer Families 1830-1985, Row-Colcord Oklahoma: The Story of Two Towns, A History of Row-Colcord, OK and the Surrounding Areas" was originally published in 1985 and is long out of print. It contains history of the southern Delaware County area, many family histories, as well as information on Hildebrand Beck Mill, Zeke Proctor and many other important people and events. Talbot Library and Museum now is offering the entire book, 573 pages, plus a new, additional "every name" index, available on CD, an index not in the original book.

The price is $40 (plus $4.50 shipping and handling), plus 8.9 percent Oklahoma sales tax where applicable.
