Maysville News

By Katherine Tucker

We sure had our spell of winter weather with school out for several days. The weather report states there will be more coming this weekend.

Hope everyone has a merry Christmas and the roads are all safe for the ones who plan to travel for it.

Orpha Wardlaw spent a couple of days in Tulsa, Okla., last week with her daughter and family, Steve and Eva Rea Fincher and children Zack and Selena.

The Maysville E.H. Club had their Christmas meeting in the home of Bert Ballmann on Thursday. There were 12 members and two visitors present. We had a delicious lunch, a short program and game. It was a good day. We all wished everyone a merry Christmas and then returned home.

Carol Ann Walker and Karla Ballmann went sometime last week and did a little shopping and then ate at the Wooden Spoon in Gentry.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week. Pam came to the club meeting with Sylvia.

We had a dinner after church Sunday at the Maysville Bible Church with plenty of good food and fellowship which we all enjoy. We always enjoy the dinner and visiting.
