Gentry hires new part-time and reserve police officers

GENTRY — The Gentry Police Department has hired several new officers.

They are listed below with their projected start dates:

◊Tommy Sisemore - Part-time II, paid, March 1;

◊ Charles Brockmeyer - Part-time II, paid, promotion effective Feb. 16;

◊Tyler Engleman - Parttime II, reserve, March 1;

◊Matt Green - Parttime II, reserve, pending March training graduation; and

◊Skip Paczowski - Parttime II, reserve, pending March training graduation (Paczowski continues toserve as Animal Control/ Code Enforcement Officer).

This will bring the total number of Gentry certified police officers to 14 when all are in place.

The new part-time officers were hired to provide improved coverage for the city and to reduce overtime and compensatory time.
