GENTRY — The Lady Pioneers played a close game against Ozark on Jan. 8 and finished just five points short.
The Gentry girls matched Ozark pointfor-point in the third and were within one or two points each quarter.
Gentry senior Tara Arnold led in scoring for the Lady Pioneers with 23 points for the night. Destiny Thomas picked up seven. Both had five rebounds for the night.

Berryville 62 Gentry 41
The Pioneers fell behind early in the game against Berryville and couldn’t catch up to the Bobcats in play on Gentry’s home court on Friday.
Austin Carr had 16 points and Donnie Hoppe, 15. Dusty Haag finished with 12 on the board. Dustin Stoufflet added 11.
The Gentry girls lost to Berryville, 39-34.
