Story time set to start for children

— The Iva Jane Peek Library in Decatur will be starting a story time for children next month.

The program is designed to help children learn that books are fun and encourage them to come to the library, according to librarian Karen Jones.

All ages are welcome,but the program will focus on preschool age children, she said.

Everyone who attends story time will get a free library membership, which is a $3 value for individuals and $5 for families, Jones said.

Story time will be held from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the first Wednesday of each month. For more information, call the Iva Jane Peek Library at 752- READ (7323).
