Now is time to sign up for Gravette driver's ed course

— Students at Gravette High School who wish to participate in the Driver’s Ed Program, which begins April 8, are advised to make application now.

Coach Kevin Cole will be instructor for the 30-hour course which will be held Monday-Friday April 8-21. Classes will be from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. in the High School Health Room. Only three missed classes are allowed.

Applicants must have a driver’s permit and proof of insurance. The cost is $150, which is due by April 5.

Besides classroom sessions, students will have six hours of driving and six hours of riding (one hour before or after driving).

Students will choose six dates for driving hours from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting May 27.

Class size, traditionally, is limited and enrollment and payment can be completed at the GHS front office.
