OPINION? EVERYBODY HAS ONE: It seems our country is in quite a mess!

Wednesday, July 3, 2013

I remember a time back in 1987 or 89 that I said something really bad. I can’t recall the exact statement, but the memory has haunted me to this day. I will never able to live it down as long as I live because some folks had gadgets that recorded every word and they saved it all!

Surely you, too, have uttered nonsense things in your lifetime that could be considered unworthy of you and maybe even hurtful to another.

That is not the only item on my agenda today. What in the name of common sense has happened to our country? Did you give over our God-blessed country to some folks with the power to rule us as though they were gods, and even if they are belching out stupid laws we must follow them?

How about getting four Americans slaughtered in a foreign country and we consider it as a subject to let die as we move on to other things? How about us being taxed to the poor house and yet the department that holds the keys to our prison are spending wild and living it up? How about us citizens learning that our appointed government officials are liars at an astounding rate and can do so straight-faced?

Are we fed up with the whole mess? I am, but then I don’t want to live in any other country. There are starving, malnourished citizens in our world and I am not one of them. I eat plenty and enough to feed a family of four on the leftovers. I just want to be rid of the stupidity of our law makers, clean out the liars, preserve the right to worship the God who has led and protected us since our beginning. The only God who we know has allowed this America to be built on His principles and is now almost an outcast in our government. What gives here?

The fences are mended and we have time to do some catch up on a few overlooked items around here. We have the posts set and the foundations are being dug for the pouring of cement to build the shed over the working pens! My close relative is in the kitchen baking pies, and the Grands are here at headquarters doing what kids like to do. Can’t get much better than that! Fat cattle, none in the sick pen, bulls where they are supposed to be and I have two dimes in my pocket!

It is my opinion, and everyone has one, all we have to do is be still and accept, never complain, and vote for the men and women who deserve our trust, worship God and do not take our freedom for granted. Be still and we will be swallowed up by tyranny! Just wanted you folks to know we are in deep trouble and we had all better do some deep thinking and praying.
