GENTRY - The public library invites parents and others to help support the super student in their lives and to promote literacy by taking part in the book fair June 10-14.

“Our Book Fair gives students access to a huge variety of books at the most affordable prices,” a library press release states. “All books are $1 each.”

According to the release, children are more likely to read the books they choose for themselves.

“It’s one of the best ways to motivate kids to read more. The more time children spend reading, the stronger their reading skills,” the release states. “Strong reading skills are the pathway to succeed in school and in life. Reading is the most powerful skill of all.”

“We look forward to seeing you at the Fair,” library staff said.
