LETTER TO THE EDITOR

The Glade Post Office

Nestled in the Ozarks, is a community of people who aspire to maintain a sense of heritage and belonging. It is of great importance to preserve this spirit of heritage alive today, with the restoration and transportation of the historical Glade Post Office. The Glade Post Office currently rests in Pea Ridge, and it is our desire to transport it back to its original location by the lake in Glade, Arkansas.

Currently, there is an effortto fund the transportation by having a garage sale and quilt raffle, on June 14-15 between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on West U.S. Highway 62 past the Garfield Post Office.

If you wish to donate items for the sale, please contact: Larry Hanner at479-451-1163 or Dorothy Williams at 479-359-3300.

Please come and support this endeavor to preserve our local and historical heritage.
