Barbara Sue Scates

Barbara Sue Scates of Gentry, Ark., died June 13, 2013, at her home.. She was born August 27, 1942, in Blackwell, Okla., to David Wesley Baylor and Francis Vivian Swan. She graduated Valedictorian from Turpin High School in Turpin, Okla.

Barbara had fi ve children, Richard Scates of Siloam Springs, Ark., twin daughters Cynthia and Sandra Scates — both deceased, Connie Weiss of Tulsa, Okla., and Sarah Foreman of Colcord, Okla. She also had nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and was expecting number 10 greatgrandchild. Barbara is survived by seven siblings, Jerry Baylor of Texas, Linda Cook of Columbus, Ohio, Jeannie Butzine of Shingletown, Calif., Lila Hill of Cripple Creek, Colo., David Edgar Baylor of Oklahoma City, Okla., Gwen Baylor of Independence, Kan., and Dale Baylor of Emporia, Kan. She was also survived by her aunt Jan Harlow of Mesa, Ariz., and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara spent most of her life in the field of bookkeeping. At her request, there will be no funeral services. Her ashes will be placed to rest in Braman, Okla., next to her grandmother Hattie Baylor.

Donald Brown

Donald M. Brown, 63, of Siloam Springs, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

He was born May 23, 1950 in Nowata, Okla., to Hugh and Leah Smith Brown. He and Terry Asencio were married May 28, 1971, in Westville, Okla. He was a maintenance worker for Franklin Electric for 33 years. He was a member of the Gentry Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Terry, of the home; one daughter, Carrie Murphy and husband Bub of Gentry; sons, Cory Brown and wife Mary Ann of Siloam Springs, Coby Brown of Fayetteville, and Casey Brown of Siloam Springs; seven grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Kitterman of Vinita, Okla., Judy, Jodie and Jerri of Oklahoma; twin brother, Ronnie Brown of Vinita; and brother, Ron Mayfi eld of Tulsa, Okla.

Memorial services were June 24 at the Gentry Church of Christ, Gentry.

Randy Ennis, Sr.

Randy Steven Ennis, Sr., 59, of Gentry, died June 17, 2013, at his home.

He was born Oct. 13, 1953, in Bentonville, to Morgan Bart Ennis and Ruby Frances Gullett Ennis. He worked as a handyman.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Ennis and Don Ennis.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Golden of Gentry; three sons, Randy Ennis, Jr., of Oologah, Okla., Travis Ennis and Cory Ennis, both of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Sandy Bradley of Siloam Springs, Gayle Brandon of Claremore, Okla., and Susan Philpott, of Missouri; three brothers, Cary Ennis of Decatur, Fred Reinhardt of Siloam Springs, and Billy Hediger of Edmond, Okla.; and three sisters, Myrna Joy Keith of Mt. Pine, Gloria Fowler of Auburn, Calif., and Shirley Goodall of Kansas City, Mo.

Vernon Ingram

Vernon Elroy Ingram, 69, of Rogers, died June 21, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born June 6, 1944, in Fayetteville, to Howard and Hazel Lenox Ingram. He was an insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance Company. He was a member of the Optimist Club and the Wild Turkey Federation. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Rogers.

Survivors include two sons, Shawn Ingram and wife TaJuana of Rogers, and Brent Ingram of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Dennis Ingram of Siloam Springs; one sister, Janice Stamps and husband Fred of Highfill; and two grandchildren, Thomas and McKensey Ingram.

Funeral services were June 25 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
