Film to be made in Gravette

GRAVETTE - Gravette’s Lion football stadium will be the site of filming scenes next week for a new movie about Razorback great Brandon Burlsworth.

The movie “GREATER” will tell the story of the young man who was a walk-on with the University of Arkansas football program to become an All-American offensive lineman for the Razorbacks. He died a tragic death just after his graduation from UofA.

Shooting of stadium scenes has been scheduled May 6, 7 and 8 and extras and Razorback fans of all ages are being sought.

Lion Stadium was chosen because of its “bowl”effect. Filming will continue at other locations in the area during May and June.

These are not paying gigs, but lunch and snacks will be provided during the 6- to 12-hour sessions.

Anyone interested in being an extra in the film should email [email protected] with their name, contact, information and schedule.
