Gravette Library plans summer reading program

GRAVETTE - The Gravette Public Library announces a special summer reading program for children, ages 5 to 12, will be held June 3-7 from 10:30 a.m. until noon.

The theme of the program is “Dig Into Reading,” with the following special topics each day:

Monday - “Pirates,” guest host from Station 105.1;

Tuesday - “Dinosaurs,”excavating for dinosaur bones;

Wednesday: “Gems,” guest speaker from Old Spanish Treasure Cave;

Thursday: “Gardening,” special guest speaker;

Friday: “Animals Underground,” guest speaker from Hobbs State Park.

The library is located just east of the Gravette Civic Center.

All children in the area are invited, said Kim Schneider, library director. For information, call her at 787-6955.
