Barbara Center

Barbara Jean Center, 75, of Huntsville, died May 12, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

She was born Oct. 6, 1937, in Strang, Okla., to Andrew Jackson Meadows and Maude Walker Meadows. She was raised in Colcord, Okla., and lived in Owasso, Okla., for 35 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Winslow.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; one sister, Geraldine Jackson; and her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Guthrie of Muskogee, Okla., and Sandra Jean Davis of Fayetteville; three sons, Michael D. Kindle of Tulsa, Okla., Steven Carl Kindle and wife Deborah of Columbia, Mo., and Daniel Wade Kindle and wife Sheila Perez-Kindle of Denver, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Earnest Joe Meadows and wife Claretta of Jay, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 16, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery, Colcord. Viewing hours will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Louise Dominy

Mary “Louise” Dominy, 87, of Siloam Springs, died May 11, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born Oct. 31, 1925, in Mineola, Texas, to Thomas Jefferson Johnson and Lila Cameron Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of the Presbyterian Church in Carthage, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Dominy.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Wishon and husband Mike of Siloam Springs; one son, Jerry Dominy of Clyde, Texas; one granddaughter, Suzanne Hayes of Gravette; one great-grandson; and one sister, Lucille Sandifer of Dover, Penn.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 17, at Wishon Cemetery in Washington County.

Ronald Martin

Ronald “Ron” Dean Martin, 62, of Gravette died Monday, May 6, 2013, at Ozark Community Hospital.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherrie Gomez.

Ruth Nash

Ruth Elaine Nash, 85, of Gentry, died April 30, 2013, in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

She was born Aug. 14, 1927, in Cooperstown, N.D. to Glen and Cora Simpson. She married Carrol Nash on Aug. 25, 1956, in Roseburg, Ore. She was a school teacher and of the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband; eight brothers, James, Reuben, Glen, Richard, Ralph and Lloyd Simpson, Bruce Doane, and Arthur Becker; two sisters, Gladys Simpson and Lillian Peitzman, and one grandson, Caleb Nash.

Survivors include three sons, Wes Nash and wife Lou of Gentry, Leo Nash and wife Sandra of Gentry, Rick Nash of Jefferson, Texas; one daughter, Dana Beierle and husband Edward of Monterey, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were May 5 at the Springtown Seventh-day Adventist Church in Springtown, with Tony Cash, Edwin Rosado and Brian Nash officiating. Burial followed at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Iris Perry

Iris Douglas Perry, 90, of Gravette died May 7, 2013, at St. John Medical Center in Springfield, Mo.

She was born in Centerton on Jan. 14, 1923, to Elmer and Huey (Cox) Douglas. She attended Gravette schools, from which she graduated in 1940. She later attended Ouachita Baptist University, earning a teaching certificate in elementary education. In July 1942, she married Vance E. Perry in Bentonville. She taught kindergarten at various locations for 20 years. She was a pianist and played in various churches since the age of 15. Most recently, she was a member of First Christian Church in Gravette.

Survivors include her son, Douglas Perry and wife Judy of Powder Springs, Ga.; daughter, Cathy Roberts and husband Jay of Plano, Texas; sisters, Wilma Sumner and Ada Mae Barnett, both of Tulsa, Alice Vivian Goodwin of Florissant, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one son, Pete Perry.

Funeral services were May 14 at First Christian Church in Gravette. Burial will be at a later date in Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
