Summer sessions offered at Boys & Girls Club

GRAVETTE - The Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County, Gravette Unit, will be open for two four-week sessions this summer.

Summer Session 1 will be held from June 4 to June 28 and Summer Session 2 from July 8 to August 2. Cost for the four-week program will be $160 per child.

Hours for the summer program are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for parents who need early drop off. All children need to be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m.

Weekly and daily drop in rates are also available. The weekly rate is $50 per child (includes field trips), and the daily rate is $15 per child (field trips are not available). Fees must be paid in advance and each child must have a current 2013 membership.

Limited scholarships are provided for those families which qualify. Scholarship applications must be picked up at the Boys & Girls Club and completed applications returned by May 24. All families will be notified before the first summer session if they have received a scholarship.

Breakfast and lunch are provided each day at the club, with a hotdog cookout each Friday. Field trips to the Gravette City Pool are also provided for those children signed up for a session or a week.

The club will be closed the week of July 1 to 5.
