DECATUR - The high school wasn’t the only school that held graduation ceremonies recently. The kindergarten class at Northside Elementary in Decatur held their 2013 program on May 20.

After the students and visitors recited the Pledge of Allegiance, the kindergartners performed two songs, “Kindergarten” and “First Grade, First Grade.”

After the musical portion, the students were presented with their kindergarten diplomas.

There were 45 students in this year’s class.

Those earning All A grades were: McKenzie Barnes, Hollie Bartleson, Kylee Beaudry, Kimberly Chavez, Marissa Dean, Aleck Echeverria, Savanna Filbeck, Leila Frydrychowski, Zeke Furrow, Irene Gonzalez, Kloee Kinder, Travis Lafary, Lindy Lee, Jonathan Matul, Heaven McGarrah, Jaqueline Ocampo, Joselyn Ramirez, Abraham Reyes, Carley Robertson, Megdalena Rodriguez, Daniel Sanchez, Elijah Scantlin, Zackary Sewell, Cadence Shelton, Natalie Shelton, Noemi Suarez, Davina Sutton, Lily Taylor, Anya Thompson, Gambit Thor, Jenifer Vasquez, and Parker Young.

Those in the A-B group were: Landon Carnes, Henry Curran, Sherlin Giron, Jamie Janes, Abigail Jessen, Rylee Kennedy, Andriana Mendoza, Brady Merworth, Kelsey Randolph, Gilberto Ruby Hinojosa, Taylor Ryan, Alex Solis and Tatiana Trejo.

The citizenship Awards recipients include: Aleck Echeverria, Daryle Hobbs, Jonathan Matul, Kelsey Randolph, Joselyn Ruiz, and Brittany Rupport.

The Arts Awards went to Kylee Beaudry, Heaven McGarrah and Magdalena Rodrigues.
