GRAVETTE — The annual free Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served this Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Gravette High School Commons. Serving will be from noon to 2 p.m.

Sponsored by Gravette area churches, this fi fth annual Thanksgiving celebration includes a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.Almost 500 people enjoyed the free meal and fellowship last year.

Sponsors of the event issued the following statement and invitation: “Please join us for food and fun. Free transportation will be provided. Call 479-787-6459. Please leave message if no answer.

“Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful and to share. We would love to share with youin a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Holidays are a time of joy. So often we fi nd ourselves dragged down in this fast-paced world. We would like to share a little joy with you and your family. If you would like to join us in a Thanksgiving Dinner, we would enjoy having your family join with us. If you know someone who needs a little joy, let us know so we can share with them.”
