— On Monday, Nov. 4, 50 students from the Gravette FFA participated in a leadership workshop at Boling’s Barn in Gravette.

Motivational speaker, Alan Johnson, greeted the FFA members as they got off the bus. Johnson, a self-proclaimed “Okie from Muskogee,” sang and spoke about his life experience as he motivated students throughout the day.

All of the FFA members actively engaged in several activities which stressed the importance and longterm effects of good decision making. Johnson kept it interesting by mixing insome musical beats.

At the end of the day, Johnson taught the members his secrets to increasing test scores.

“All of the students really enjoyed the company of our guest speaker,” saidWilliam Tapp, chapter adviser.

“Our members would like to thank McKee Foods and the Gravette FFA Support Group for sponsoring this event, and Danny and Becky Boling for their generosity and hospitality,” he added.

The Gravette FFA is part of a national youth organization that promotes premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
