GENTRY — Republic Services, the company contracted by the city of Gentry for trash service, announced a schedule for holiday closures.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, routes normally scheduled for Thursday will be completed on Friday, and Friday routes will be completed on Saturday.

In observance of the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 25, trash routes normally scheduled for Wednesday will be completed on Thursday. Thursday routes willbe completed on Friday, and Friday routes will be completed on Saturday, Dec. 28.

In observance of the New Year’s holiday on Wednesday, Jan. 1, routes normally scheduled for Wednesday will be completed on Thursday, Thursday routes will be completed on Friday, and Friday routes will be completed on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Waste containers should be at the curb by 6 a.m. on the re-scheduled mornings of service.

Routes will return to their normal schedules in the weeks following the holidays.
