A Save the Safari Support Rally is planned for Oct. 6, from 1-5 p.m., as a family event to give the public a chance to show support for the Wild Wilderness Safari.

The Safari is waiving admission charges for the event and will have special attractions for supporters to enjoy.

Video comments will be taken from visitors and sent to American Electric Power Company and Southwestern Electric Power Company, an AEP subsidiary.
