Live on Stage begins Sunday

BENTONVILLE - Live on Stage in NWA will open its 2013-14 concert series with Exile, legendary rock and country recording artists.

The group will perform a program of unforgettable hits as part of its 50th anniversary tour at 2 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 15, at Arend Arts Center, 1901 S.E. J St., in Bentonville.

The “Students on Stage” performance for this concert will feature Olivia Wise, who is in her senior year of studying piano performance at John Brown University in Siloam Springs.

While at JBU, she has performed in master classes and has served as pianist for her church in Siloam Springs and as pianist and organist for her hometown church in Texas.

Live On Stage in NWA presents acclaimed national artists at an affordable price.

The organization also promotes performing arts awareness across northwest Arkansas through various outreach programs, including “Students On Stage,” where students perform prior to seriesconcerts, and a scholarship program for Benton County high school graduates pursuing a musical education.

Single tickets for the Sept. 15 event are $25 each, $20 per person for groups of 10 or more and $5 for students. They will be sold at the door or may be purchased in advance by calling 479-855-9997 or by visiting www.LiveOnStageNWA.com.
