GARFIELD - Northeast Benton County Fire-EMS will host its 20th annual Turkey Shoot and Rib Cookoff fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at NEBCO Fire Station No. 1 and the Community Center on U.S. Highway 62 and South Wimpy Jones Road.
Activities are anchored by the popular cook-off and Turkey Shoot events plus a day-long raffl e. Other activities include a silent auction, bingo and games as well as events for kids.
Attendees may lunch on baby-back pork ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and drink from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
All proceeds go to the NEBCO Fire-EMS general fund. Call the department at 479-359-3134 for additional information or to enter and/or sponsor a cook-off team.
