Three new faces can be seen among the ranks of the Bella Vista Fire Department.

Due to the parting of three employees, Chief Steve Sims said he brought in three additional firefighters as replacements.

This is EMT Randy Fine’s first full-time fi refighting and medic position. He left fl ight school to fi ght fires, he said.

Fine’s father was an aircraft mechanic, so he spent a portion of his childhood in Saudi Arabia, before moving to the United States at age 13.

The senior airman remains a member of the Air NationalGuard of Fort Smith, and lives in Rogers with his wife Felicia and their two boys, ages 4 and 5.

John Stay, also an EMT, came to Bella Vista from Bethel Heights. With military parents, he has lived all over the US, includingMaine, Illinois and Hawaii, and also in Cuba.

He and his wife Joy have a 4-month-old daughter.

Josh Davis of Riverton, Kan., worked as an EMT and a reserve fi refi ghter in California and Oklahoma before beginning his fi rst full-time fi refi ghter/EMT position at Bella Vista. He lives in Kansas, but was attracted to this area and will relocate here to where he can enjoy outdoor activities like hunting and fi shing.
