Maysville News

It sure didn't feel like spring weather Sunday. It was real cool and windy all day. Maybe spring and a good rain will be here soon.

There was a fairly good group at the spaghetti supper on Saturday evening at the community building. We want to thank everyone who comes and supports us on the upkeep of the building.

Jim and Barbara Whisenant attended the Booth Brothers concert Saturday evening at the Gravette High School. It sure was a good concert and a packed crowd.

My visitors on Friday afternoon were my brother Jim Vandiver and friend Darlene of Broken Arrow, Okla., my sister Marie Crawford and husband Jim of Decatur, sister Frances Sims of Bentonville, niece Anita Townsend and husband Buddy of Bentonville. After we ate here at my house we went to the Booth Brothers concert. My sister Marie and husband Jim didn't go to the concert as they weren't feeling well but it was good to have them here at the house.

Orpha Wardlaw, Karen Shook and Eula Evans went to the Booth Brothers concert. They enjoyed it very much.

Russell and Melinda Crawley took advantage of the short spring break last week and went on a camping trip. Their children, William and Tabitha, enjoyed it.
