Sarah Christine Bubniak, of Fayetteville, has received the distinguished Scholars Award from Arkansas Tech University, beginning with the fall semester.
She will graduate from Farmington High School in May and has received a scholarship from Arkansas Tech. She is the daughter of Tammy Easley and has family in Hiwasse.
She has been a member of the National Honor Society from 2011 to 2014. She plans to major in rehabilitation science.
