Maysville News

By Katherine Tucker

We got a little rain shower Saturday night and more on Sunday evening. We do need it.

Carma Tucker came by and visited me on her way home from work Friday afternoon. We had a good visit. She brought me a copy of a memorial that Wayne Tucker had written after his mother passed away in West Covina, Calif., last month.

Some of the Maysville E.H. Club members attended a Curtain Call workshop for county clubs at the Extension Office on Friday.

Jim and Barbara Whisenant have a grandson spending a few days with them. I think they sorta enjoy him being there.

We had a fellowship dinner after church Sunday morning at the Maysville Bible Church. There was plenty of good food and fellowship.

It was good to have Nathan Whisenant visiting church Sunday morning. He led the singing. Our pastor Jim treated us with some good songs in the morning service.

There were a lot of lawn mowers busy Saturday. Guess it's getting about that time of the year. My yard is sorta needing mowing. Guess I'll wait a few days!

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one evening last week. They enjoyed a good visit.

As usual I need news items. If you have any give me a call, 787-5712, or mail them to me at 204 Charlotte St., S.E., Gravette, AR 72736.
