Gravette Police Log

Sunday, April 20

At approximately 4:23 p.m. Gravette officers were called to the high school in reference to someone possibly on the roof. Officers searched the area and the high school and nobody was found.

At approximately 5:48 p.m. a resident near the 600 block of Charlotte St. S.W. reported he had found an arrow stuck in the ground in his backyard. The arrow came from the residents directly behind him on Dallas St. S.W. The resident on Dallas St. was told to take the target down and not to shoot arrows toward other houses.

At approximately 6:11 p.m. Gravette officers were called to the Dollar General in reference to a theft. This incident is still under investigation.

Monday, April 21

At approximately 4:21 p.m. Nancy Green called the police to report a theft. Nancy told officers that another female stole her medication from her residence. No arrests were made and this incident is still under investigation.

Tuesday, April 22

At approximately 3:31 a.m. an anonymous caller stated that a charcoal gray Lexus was passing people in a no-passing zone and driving at a high rate of speed on the new highway. The caller stated the vehicle did a doughnut on the new highway and left toward Centerton. Centerton was advised. An officer responded to the scene but was unable to locate the vehicle.

At approximately 3:35 a.m. Gravette officers responded to an alarm call at Can-Do Hardware. Upon officers' arrival, the building was searched and found to be secure. No damage or signs of forced entry were located.

At approximately 4:12 p.m. officers were called in reference to a silver Nissan that was headed into the Gravette city limits. The caller advised that the vehicle was all over the road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

At approximately 5:41 a.m. Dawn Blessing was cited into court for a warrant out of the Gravette Police Department for failure to appear.

Wednesday, April 23

At approximately 12:09 a.m. Loretta Trammell called Gravette Police in reference to her neighbor who was harassing her. Upon officer arrival near the 700 block of Irving St., it was determined that the issue was a civil matter and both agreed to leave the other alone and an officer would be patrolling their residences.

Thursday, April 24

At approximately 4:25 a.m. officers were called to a residence near the 400 block of Dallas S.W. in reference to a 911 hangup. Upon officers' arrival, it was determined that a person at the residence accidentally dialed 911 and everyone was okay.

Friday, April 25

At approximately 8:30 a.m. there was a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 72 just east of the intersection with Lions Drive. Abigail Roman was later arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. No injuries were reported at the accident scene.
