Seems like we missed the chance for a good rain. We are really in need of rain. I know the farmers would like to have one for their hay fields and for filling ponds.

Mickey Wilber of Raleigh, N.C., has been here during the illness and death of his mother, Billie Wilber. They have returned home.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Saturday. They always enjoy a good visit.

A large crowd attended funeral services for Billie Wilber at the Maysville Baptist Church on Wednesday morning with burial at the Maysville Cemetery. Billie was a lifelong resident of Maysville. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Sue Woods of Bentonville visited me for a short time on Friday afternoon. I sure enjoyed her coming by. Hope she will come again.

James and Linda Melton of Florida were here for Billie Wilber's funeral. They are in the process of moving back to Arkansas. They will be living near Tontitown.

Tracy Warren, Helen Chism and Billy Cook visited me awhile Sunday afternoon. They had another stop or two to make.

Clifton Tucker of Bella Vista visited me one day last week. He always comes by when he is in the area.

Funeral services for Harvey Bohall were held on Friday at the Maysville Baptist Church. He was a lifetime resident of Maysville. Sympathy is extended to the family.
