GRAVETTE -- Pretty Baby and Tiny Tot contests will be held on Gravette Day afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. The Pretty Baby contest features children from birth to 23 months. The Tiny Tot contest which will follow immediately afterward will include contestants, both boys and girls, ages 2 through 4. At press time on Monday, there were four entrants for the Pretty Baby contest and 16 for the Tiny Tot contest.
Each contestant will make an individual appearance on the Kindley Park stage, then all entrants will appear as a group. Contestants will be judged on poise and overall appearance by a panel of three judges, according to pageant chairwomen Heather Finley and Robin Lovell. Each contestant will receive a gift and there will be prizes for the winner and runner-up in each category.
According to Heather Finley, deadline for entries for both contests has been extended to Thursday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m.
