GRAVETTE -- Motorists on Highway 59 North in Gravette have noticed a flurry of activity recently at the old Shop 'n Go store just south of the overpass. That's because Travis and Shelly Walls and family have been busy moving their business, TSW Automotive, into the building.

TSW Automotive has been operating out of the Mount Pleasant Sales and Service building near Hiwasse, but Walls says he was happy to find the new location. He is hoping the increased traffic on Arkansas Highway 59 will bring him some new customers.

Walls, 32, has been tinkering with automobiles since he was just a boy. He was only 13 or 14 when his grandpa brought him an old vehicle that didn't run, bought him a Chilton's manual for it and challenged him to fix the motor. He met the challenge and soon had it on the road again.

Walls opened TSW Automotive in May of this year. He does service and repair on all types of vehicles, old and new.

"If it's got a motor, he can fix it," his wife Shelly says.

Business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Phone number for the business is 479-212-1373.

Travis is a Galveston, Texas, native. He and his family moved to Gravette from Missouri in January of this year. The couple has eight children, Hope, 15; Traver, 13; Annyston, 11; Aaliyah, 9; Caleb, 9; Randy, 7; and twins Allison and Graclyn, 5.
