Gravette Police Log

Aug. 22, at approximately 10:17 a.m., Andrea Stiner called Gravette police to report a fraud. Stiner told police that a representative from the Publisher's Clearing House called and told her she had won a prize. A report was filed and the case is being investigated.

Aug. 22, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Gravette officers responded to a domestic disturbance near the 600 block of Atlanta. The caller reported that her ex-husband was intoxicated and causing a verbal disturbance at her residence. The suspect left the scene prior to officers arrival.

Aug. 17, at approximately 10:54 p.m., Gravette officers were called to the 800 block of Almond St. for a theft report. The caller stated that money was stolen out of his vehicle. The caller did not see or hear anything suspicious.

Aug. 17, at approximately 4:42 p.m., officers were called to the area of Arkansas Highway 72 and the Old Hog Farm in reference to a Pit Bull running loose. Officers were unable to locate the dog.

Aug. 12, at approximately 6:22 p.m., Gravette officers stopped Jesus Ramirez for failing to stop at a stop sign. Ramirez was later arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
