Maysville News

We sure are in need of rain. The weather man says maybe we'll get some the middle of the week. We hope so.

Clifton Tucker came by for a brief visit one day last week. He ran some errands for me while he was here.

The community was saddened by the death of Connie Janes Threlkeld of Fayetteville. Connie was born in Gravette and lived in Maysville until graduation from high school at Gravette. Services were held at Shiloh Community Church in Fayetteville and burial was at Maysville Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week. They always enjoy a good visit.

Shelli Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, recently. They enjoyed a good visit.

Maysville E. H. Club members, remember this Thursday, Aug. 28, is our day out. We don't have a meeting in August but we will meet at the community building at 11 a.m. We are going to treat ourselves and go to Grove to eat out. We are looking forward to that.

Jim and Barbara Whisenant had their grandson Tyler from Gentry visiting them this weekend. They always enjoy that. I think Tyler does also.

It was good to have Nathan Whisenant at the morning services at Maysville Bible Church Sunday. He leads the singing and brings the message.
