GENTRY -- Pickin' Time on 59, featuring antiques, collectibles, garage and yard sale items and some business promotions, is set for Oct. 9, 10 and 11.
The event route will be from the Siloam Springs Airport, on Arkansas Highway 59 just north of U.S. Highway 412, north through Gentry, Decatur, Gravette and Sulphur Springs.
"This is becoming a huge event for vendors and shoppers," said Bev Saunders, Gentry Chamber of Commerce director. "We hope that everyone will take advantage of it. Besides generating money into these communities, it's lots of fun," Saunders said.
The city of Gentry waives its yard and garage sale permit requirements during the three-day event.
