DECATUR -- The air around Decatur was filled with the sounds of fanfare of trumpets announcing the coming of the Christmas season as the beginning and symphonic bands presented their annual winter concert Dec. 9 in the cafeteria at Decatur High School.
Both bands, under the direction of Kristin Wages, performed selections by George Poulton, John Higgins, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Benjamin Hanby and Robert Smith.
