Thomas Bauser

Thomas Terry Bauser, 69, of Siloam Springs, died Jan. 31, 2014, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs.

He was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Beardstown, Ill., to Tom Bauser and Lucille Lyles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherry Bauser; and three brothers.

He is survived by a daughter, Trisha Watasha of Claremore, Okla.; brothers, Tommy Joe Bauser of Claremore, Allen Pate of Oklahoma, Wyatt Pate of Gentry, Jack Montgomery of Beardstown; a sister, Naomi Cooley of Gentry; and numerous grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are pending, with burial planned at a later date in Illinois.

Dennis Haynes

Dennis Lynn Haynes, 64, of Siloam Springs, died Jan. 28, 2014, at the Veteran's Hospital, Little Rock.

He was born Jan. 29, 1949, in Jonesboro, to Louis Wetzel Haynes and Wilma Nell Whitehead Haynes. He was a graduate of Jonesboro High School. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and served in the Navy for 14 years. He was employed as an electrician with McKee Foods before his retirement.

Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Hennessey of Washington, Lisa Blach of Idaho, Tiffany Haynes of South Carolina and Brittany Jackson of Siloam Springs; sons, Earl Trammell of Gentry and Mark Thrailkill of Siloam Springs; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Edward Haynes of Clearlake, Calif., and Michael Wayne Crafton of Siloam Springs; and his stepmother, Jerita Haynes of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services were Feb. 1 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial was at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Ruby Lucas

Ruby Nadine Lucas, 80, died Jan. 22, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

She was born Aug. 21, 1933, in St. Francois township, Wayne County, Mo., to Osroe and Ethel Graham.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Bill Montgomery; her husband of 29 years, Jack Lucas, Sr.; a stillborn son, Rocky Lucas; and a daughter, Dixie Phillips.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Bates, Rita Winchester and husband Joe, both of Gravette, and Vanessa Estep and husband Danny of Sulphur Springs; three sons, Jack Lucas, Jr., of Sweet Springs, Mo., Mike Lucas and wife Roxanna of Abilene, Texas, and Sam Lucas and wife Beverly of Albany, Texas; one brother, Buddy Graham, of Union, Mo.; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation was by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial service was Jan. 26, at Harbor House in Sulphur Springs.

Marvin Thompson

Marvin Clinton Thompson, 84, of Colcord, Okla., died Jan. 28, 2014, at his home.

He was born Feb. 7, 1929, in Siloam Springs, to Ernest Clinton Thompson and Mary Frances Stout Thompson. He was a lifetime resident of the area and was owner/operator of several businesses. He grew up along Sager Creek and Quaker town District of Siloam Springs. He opened Thompson Auto Sales on Tulsa Street in the early 1960s and later moved to a new location on East Main. He was a member of the Jaycees, the Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mounted Patrol, and a Golden Member of the Siloam Springs Riding Club. He was also involved in the rodeo community. In the last 28 years, he has presided as the president of the Cowboys Regional Rodeo Association. He married Margarett Fritts in Miami, Okla., on Jan. 14, 1976.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Evelyn; his first wife, Geraldine Jackson; and one grandson, Nicholaus Weir.

Survivors include his wife Margarett of the home; two sons, Trey Thompson of the home and Marvin "Marty" Thompson, II, and wife Andi of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; two daughters, Rhonda Weir and husband Bob of Siloam Springs and Marla Sappington and husband John of Siloam Springs; one step-son, Franklin Strong of Tahlequah, Okla.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Newton of Gentry, and Bernice Woodruff of Siloam Springs; and one brother, Bill Thompson of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services were Jan. 31 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Michael Goldsmith and Doug Williams officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

JB Williams

JB Williams, 83, of Colcord, Okla., died Jan. 27, 2014, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital, Siloam Springs.

He was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Chewey, Okla., to Charlie Clifton Williams and Fannie Ethel Hampton Williams. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and lived in the Moseley community where he was a dairy and beef cattle farmer. He enjoyed bird hunting in his younger years. On May 31, 1952, he married Helen Catherine Chapman. He was a member of Mosley Regular United Baptist Church, Moseley, Okla.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife Helen of the home; two sons, Jim Williams and wife Suzanna of Tontitown, Johnny Williams of Fayetteville; three daughters, Linda Lawson and husband Don of Siloam Springs, Janet Hurt and husband Greg of Colcord, and Diane Chamberlain and husband Dave of West Maysville, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Williams, Forrest Williams, and Bobby Williams, all of Westville, Okla.; and two sisters, Patsy Choate and Betty Morris, both of Westville.

Funeral services were Feb. 1, at Mosley Regular United Baptist Church, Moseley, Okla., with Mark Sherrell and Logan Shelley officiating. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery, Chewey, Okla. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
