Polling places announced

The Benton County Election Commission announced polling locations for the EMS special election on Tuesday, Feb. 11. West and northwest Benton County polling sites include the following:

Precinct 1, 2 and 4 voters will cast ballots at the Gravette Civic Center.

Precinct 6, 6 and 15, at the Total Life Community Center in Siloam Springs.

Precinct 8, 11, 16 and 17, at Siloam Springs Community Building.

Precinct 22, 60 and 62, at Hiwasse Fire Station Community Building.

Precinct 30, 21, 32, 63 and 66, at Bella Vista Church of Christ.

The election is for voters in the non-incorporated areas of the county and involves a proposed $85 annual fee to help finance ambulance service to persons who live in those areas.

The polls will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

Early voting is available through February 10 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the County Clerk's offices in Bentonville, Rogers and Siloam Springs.

A new Arkansas law requires that all voters will be required to provide photo identification, the Commission advised.
