GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers fell to Pea Ridge on Saturday, 36-26.

Pea Ridge jumped ahead in the first quarter, but Gentry came back on a pair of deuces by Haley Borgeteien-James to make the game four-all. After another bucket by Pea Ridge, Gentry jumped ahead on a three-pointer by Mallory Morris. But that was the only time Gentry held the advantage.

A pair of two-pointers in the third by Borgeteien-James and Karoline Page brought the Lady Pioneers within one, down 17-16; but from there the Lady Blackhawks pulled away to seal their victory.

Borgeteien-James led the Gentry girls in scoring with 10 points. Morris and Page each had six. Jordan Olds and Kristen Flesner each had two. Flesner's points were made on the free-throw line.
