Robert and Geneva Hamilton, of Hiwasse, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the First Baptist Church on Highway 72 West in Hiwasse. Robert Hamilton and Geneva Fletcher were married July 3, 1964, at the Hiwasse Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Ed Abla. They are parents of two children, Robert Paul Hamilton (and wife Amanda) of Hiwasse and Marlo Hamilton of St. Louis, Mo. They have three grandchildren, Koletun Hamilton, in U.S. Navy submarine school stationed at Groton, Conn., Beau and Reese Hamilton of Hiwasse.
