Doug and Darleen Holly, of Decatur, proudly announce the engagement of their son, Ethan Andrew Holly, to Katie Marie Christensen, daughter of Brian and Deanna Christensen of Brush, Colo.
The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Brush High School, in Brush, and a 2013 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a minor in horticulture. Christensen will be teaching fourth grade in Oakley, Kan., this fall.
She is the granddaughter of Jim and Ruth Ann Odle of Brush, and Glen and Connie Christensen of Fort Morgan, Colo.
Holly is a 2008 graduate of Decatur High School and a 2012 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture business. He is employed at the Farmers State Bank of Oakley, where he is assistant vice-president.
He is the grandson of Max and Pauline Horton of Collinsville, Okla., and the late Wallace and Willa Jean Holly of Southwest City, Mo.
The couple is planning a wedding on Aug. 2, 2014, in Oakley.
After a trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Oakley.
