Today sure seems like summer. I just hope the rains aren't over. Hope we get some in July and August.
There seems to be a lot of hay baling going on. Fields in all directions have already got a lot baled. Guess too much rain makes it difficult on hay baling that hasn't got done.
Patti King and Petru of Lowell came over to Jack and Sylvia Tucker's on July 4th. They spent the night and I hear they had a good dinner as usual. I'm sure they all enjoyed that.
Orpha Wardlaw spent some time last week in the home of her daughter and family, Steve and Eva Rea Fincher, Selena and Zack, in Tulsa. She came home after she attended church with them Sunday morning.
Steve and Susan Tucker of Bella Vista came after me early in the afternoon Friday. We met Seth and Melody Tucker and Judah from Harrison in the home of Melody's parents in Rogers. There were several others there and plenty of good food. The children and some of the adults enjoyed the swimming pool.
Tracy Warren and Helen Chism came over and visited while Steve and Susan were here when we got back from Rogers. They were going to watch the Gravette fireworks when they left here.
Matt and Karla Ballmann came and visited me Sunday afternoon. It's always good for them or any of the family to come by.
Kevin and Diana Graham had a cookout the evening of the 4th of July. Other family members were there. I'm sure they had plenty of food and also fireworks.
