Four sessions remain of 'Fizz Boom Read'

There are four sessions remaining in the "Fizz Boom Read" summer reading program at the Gravette Public Library.

The program has been very successful so far, with 84 youngsters participating in the various sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays since the kickoff event June 17.

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 17, at 1 p.m., a duct-tape art class will be held for children 12 and older.

Pre-enrollment is requested for this activity, so those not already enrolled should call the library at 787-6955 to sign up.

The last three activities are on Tuesdays.

On Tuesday, July 22, at 11 a.m., an "Architecture and Engineering" session will be held for all ages.

On Tuesday, July 29, at 11 a.m., an "Early Learners Sound of Music" session will be held for ages 2 through 7.

The final event of the summer will be a Science Fair and ice cream party for all who have been enrolled in the summer reading program. It will be held Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 1 p.m.

Library manager Kim Schneider and her staff invite all youngsters in the area to come enjoy these last few summer reading sessions.

They have been very pleased with the participation so far and say the kids have had an "awesome" experience.
