Marlo Hamilton has spent a few days here this week visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton, helping plan and then helping them celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday evening.

Those having Sunday lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier and Gabe were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Skylar Carrier, Jessica, Madison, Serenity and myself.

Regina Keith has not been feeling so well. Keep her and Larry in your prayers.

Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier and Gabe were in Bentonville Sunday evening helping Paula's sister, Debbie Messersmith, celebrate her birthday.

We set some record low temperatures in our area this last week. It was 49 degrees at my house Wednesday morning but we do need some rain.

People, please do something newsworthy and then tell me about it.

Campers in the East might be awakened at any hour by the whoops and hoots of a barred owl, also known as the hoot owl. The large dark, round-headed owl will respond to nearly any mimicked hoot so feel free to converse.
