Senior center receives funds for roof repair

Submitted Photo Senator Jim Hendren presented a $15,000 check July 16 to Mary Kay Kelley, director of the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center. The funds were from the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, which has approved a General Improvement Fund grant. The GIF grant is a community development grant to the Office of Human Concern. Grant money will help the Billy V. Hall Center repair storm damage to the roof.
