HIGHFILL -- Travelers to the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport could see minor delays because of construction on Regional Boulevard just north of the airport.
A project to improve drainage under the road will require a slight one-lane detour. Airport officials are urging drivers to allow an extra 5-10 minutes if they are planning to use the northern entrance to the airport.
The project should take no more than 40 days to complete. The south entrance from Arkansas 264 will not be affected. Work began Monday.
