Maysville News

Sunday was a nice sunny day even though it was on the cold side. We missed the rain they had in the forecast and we really do need it.

Clifton Tucker of Bella Vista came by one day last week. It's always good to have him come by. We had a good visit.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is our regular club day. It will be at the community building. Jewel Crawley is hostess for the lunch. Visitors are welcome.

Gary Singleton's brother who lived in Tulsa passed away. The family have been there for the services. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Those visiting in the home of Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Saturday were Patti King and Petru of Lowell, Carroll Tucker and Pam. They went to the Rib Crib in Grove to eat. They were celebrating Sylvia's birthday. Happy birthday and hope you have many more.

Word was received last week of the death of Barbara Tucker of West Covina, Calif. She has a son living at Maysville, Wayne Tucker. Sympathy is extended to all.

Remember the E.H. Club fundraiser is coming up April 5 at the community building. It is a spaghetti supper which consists of spaghetti, salad, bread and drinks. Cost is $6 for adults, $2.50 for children. We will have homemade pies for sale and also a cake walk. This is to help pay our expenses for propane and electricity and it's almost mowing time. Again we do appreciate your support.

Sylvia Tucker visited me on Thursday afternoon. We had a good visit. It had been some time since she had been up. I guess our weather has sorta taken some of the visiting time.

It was good to have Patti King visit church Sunday morning with her mother, Sylvia Tucker. It's always good to see her.
